Training Policy

Aims

To identify training requirements throughout the Company and to formulate a systematic training plan for satisfying those requirements.

Policy

1 - The Company will provide structured and systematic training satisfy the following categories:

  • New entrants. Training of those newly recruited, transferred or promoted employees.
  • Change. Training of those whose current jobs will be affected by impending changes.
  • Improvement. Training of those whose current work performance should be improved.
  • Long Term. Top up training and training for those who wish to further develop through outside recognised training bodies.
  • Special Areas. Training for employees who will be working in special environments and therefore need special skills.

 

2 - Formulating Training plans and Apportioning Responsibilities.

  • In order to successfully identify training needs, we monitor, record and report the work performance of those who report directly to them.
  • Any training requirement identified, is communicated to the Company Training Manager with a recommendation for action.
  • The Training Manager is responsible for organising and co-ordinating all activities pertaining to training and monitoring the Training Plan for the duration of its life.
